WhatsApp: In which folder of Google Drive does WhatsApp's chat backup feature save data?

The chat backup is saved as HIDDEN DATA .To check if your chats are really backed up or not , head to
Open Google Drive and log in to your Google account. If you are accessing the link from your phone, you have to tap on the Menu Button in the top left corner and then choose to use Desktop Version.
  1. Click on the Gear icon in the top right > Settings > Manage Apps.
  2. Scroll until you find WhatsApp in the list
  3. After you see WhatsApp, wait until “Hidden app data” size comes up.
